Stella Marina is an Italian swimwear brand, launched by Susanna Rupp in Italy in 2004. After 15 years of working for a design studio that served the most outstanding fashion giants like Gianfranco Ferre, Christian Dior, Emporio Armani, Gianni Versace and Pin-up as a swimwear and lingerie designer, she created her own swimwear brand with designs inspired by the Italian fashion.
It was merely a year later in 2005, when the collection achieved success in Italy. However, the stepping-stone into the international market was the exhibition of her collections at Catwalks one of the most important beachwear fashion shows in France. Since then the Stella Marina brand has started to become one of the most popular swimwear brands in top stores around the world.
